Westerham Ramblers
We are an informal group which walks on alternate Sunday mornings in North West Kent. Our age range is anything from eight to eighty. We welcome dogs (provided they're friendly). We number anything from 30 to 50 and our record is 53. We have been running (or, at least, walking) for about fifteen years and have only missed three times; one because it fell on Christmas Eve and the other two because the very snowy conditions made it too dangerous to drive to the meeting place. As well as our regular walks, we occasionally have extra ones, usually on Bank Holidays. We also hold a couple of social functions each year; a Garden Party in the summer and a festive lunch just before Christmas. Our website is regularly updated and gives full details of all walks, including how to get to the start point.
